SAXONBURG - District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Richard Bauman, 40, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, pleaded guilty to a bad check charge filed Jan. 24 by Saxonburg police. Bauman was ordered to pay $699.50 in fines, court costs and restitution.
Clement Beichner, 42, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and a lane violation, filed Sept. 13 by state police.
William Fisher, 23, of Washington Township pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Fisher was ordered to pay $329.50 in fines and court costs. The charge was filed Feb. 22 by Middlesex Township police.
Kristopher Macharyas, 31, of Derry, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, driving an unregistered vehicle and criminal mischief, filed Jan. 14 by Saxonburg police.
Shayna McDowell, 19, of Butler pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. McDowell was ordered to pay $329.50 in fines and court costs. The charges were filed March 8 by Middlesex Township police.
Laura Schoedel, 42, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment by communication filed Feb. 22 by Buffalo Township police. Schoedel was ordered to pay $279.50 in fines and court costs.
Bradley Waller, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. The charge was filed March 8 by Middlesex Township police. Waeler was ordered to pay $329.50 in fines and court costs.
George Zaborowski, 34, of Winfield Township was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property, careless driving, reckless driving, and failure to keep to the right and yield the right of way, filed Nov. 18 by state police.
EVANS CITY - District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Lee E. Boss, 47, of Harmony had his case held to court. He was charged March 4 by the Zelienople police with writing bad checks.Larry David Stevick, 48, of Mars waived his case to court. He was charged March 16 by Adams Township police with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving.Kevin Houston Smith, 46, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 28 by Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving at unsafe speeds.Dennis W. Stickley, 67, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, had his case held for court. He was charged Feb. 28 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and failure to keep right.
CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:James Ostronic, 46, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 25 by Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving without headlights on during required hours.Trish Thompson, 25, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 28 by Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving too slow for conditions.Elizabeth Ann Cutts, 19, of Greentree, Allegheny County, waived her case to court. She was charged March 23 by the Cranberry Township police with two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery.
SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:David E. Christy, 41, of Portersville waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock police with driving under the influence, operating without a valid state inspection and driving with a suspended license on March 3 in Slippery Rock.Keith J. Buckley, 28, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock police with driving under the influence, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and driving with a suspended license on Feb. 26 in Slippery Rock.Paul Roth, Jr., 43, of New Castle pleaded guilty. He was charged by state police with attempting to write a bad check for $250 from an invalid account at First National Bank in Portersville on Dec. 21. He was ordered to pay $438 in fines and costs.David W. Noviello, 40, of New Castle pleaded guilty. He was charged on March 3 with writing a bad check to a Slippery Rock resident on Dec. 15 for $438. Noviello was ordered to pay $637 in fines and restitution.
WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Randall L. Cyphert, 43, of Grove City, waived his case to court. He was charged with two counts of simple assault and harassment on Feb. 18 by Grove City police. The charges stem from an incident that occurred Feb. 6 involving a child at a Grove City residence.Corey A. Botteicher, 35, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to the charge of theft by deception. The charge stems from a Dec. 22 incident when Botteicher wrote a bad check to a Grove City business. He was ordered to pay $735 in fines and restitution.Thomas C. Berger, 26, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane and careless driving Oct. 29 on Route 258 in Liberty Township.Mark R. Reid, 21, of Delaware, Ohio, had his case held for court. State police charged him with receiving stolen property, driving an unregistered vehicle, speeding and displaying a plate card in an improper vehicle on Jan. 9 on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township. Reid was driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate, expired registration and no insurance.
