A May 14 wedding is being planned by Elizabeth Christy of Allison Park and Clinton Rome of Herman.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Karen Christy of Allison Park. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Francis and Charla Rome of Herman.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Deer Lakes High School and a 2004 graduate of Penn State University, earning an associate's degree in radiologic technology. She works for Butler Memorial Hospital as a radiological technologist.

Her fiancé is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2002 graduate of Butler County Community College. He works for Napco.
