BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
A 40 Days of Purpose kickoff tailgate party will be held at noon Saturday at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. The event will include a simulcast broadcast of "What Am I Here For" by the Rev. Rick Warren, music by southern gospel singers and activities for children. Barbara Anderson, a retired missionary from the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism will be the featured speaker at the spring meeting of Women's Missionary Fellowship Groups from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Evans City. The subject will be "Encouraging Missionaries and Others." The group will also elect a vice president and secretary for two-year terms. The project goal is to provide an ice machine for the Slippery Rock Baptist Camp. Participating churches are to take rolls and a salad for five attendees.
Women of the Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday for a craft night at the Baptist Youth Center.
