3:16 a.m. Wednesday - Linda Miles, 56, of 225 Kittanning St., Apt. 1A was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on East Jefferson Street.

12:45 a.m. today - Brandon Sampson, 24, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Keister Road and Route 173 in Slippery Rock.Today - Kevin L. Smith, 45, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 South in Butler.4:41 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Joe Palermo, 17, and a pickup truck driven by James Connors, 25, both of Butler, collided at Route 308 and Henricks Road in Center Township. Palermo was cited for undisclosed traffic violations in the crash.Friday - Laura Smith of Connoquenessing reported someone used her debit card she lost in the Mars/Adams Township area to make more than $680 in unauthorized purchases at two stores in Cranberry Township.

9:58 p.m. Monday - Two Chicago men were arrested after their car was stopped for speeding on Interstate 80 in Shenango Township and police found 156 counterfeit designer purses with a street value of $44,655. Stanley Robison, 48, and Randall McClendon, 50, are charged with trademark counterfeiting.

9:43 a.m. Monday - Gary McCandless, 45, of South High Street, Zelienople, reported someone smashed the rear window of his van in his driveway. Damage was estimated at $200.3:20 p.m. Sunday - Michael McFarland, 44, of 200 West Beaver St., Zelienople, reported the theft of his 1991 Pontiac Bonneville, valued at $2,000, while it was parked on South Clay Street near his residence.7:38 a.m. April 1 - John Davis, 28, of 301 Zeigler Ave., Butler, reported his wallet with contents valued at $230 was taken from his lunchbox at George's Moving and Storage, 729 West New Castle St. He was working as a contractor there at the time of the theft.9:48 p.m. April 1 - Vehicles driven by Robert Reed McGowan, Jr., 78, of 207 Burgess Dr., Zelienople, and by Joseph C. Kerner, 57, of 15 Marion Dr., Zelienople, collided at the intersection of South Clay and West Beaver streets. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.5:15 p.m. March 31 - Three teenagers were not hurt when their vehicle hit a parked car near 400 McKim St. in Zelienople and overturned onto its side. The driver was a 16-year-old from Jackson Township, and two passengers were a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy from Harmony and Zelienople. The driver told police he was talking on his cell phone and shifting when he was distracted.

9:45 p.m. Monday - Brian K. Rauch, 31, of West Main Street, Grove City, was arrested for aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment of another person, harassment and disorderly conduct.4:30 p.m. Friday March 17 - Police responded to a hit-and-run accident on South Broad Street. A vehicle belonging to Rita Brown, 43, of Applewood Lane, Slippery Rock, was parked on South Broad Street when a black Ford full-size pickup clipped her driver's side mirror and did not stop.2:34 p.m. March 14 - An accident occurred on Madison Avenue. A truck driven by Walter Richardson, 72, of South Center Street and a vehicle driven by Roberta Surrena, 81, of Harrisville, collided on Madison Avenue in Grove City. Richardson was cited for not using a turn signal and failure to yield when making a left turn. No injuries were reported.
