Van Tine, Leeson
Tonya Van Tine and Charles Leeson, both of Butler were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Aug. 21 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception followed at the Summit Township Sportsman's Club.
The bride is the daughter of John Van Tine of Butler and Brenda Van Tine of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Catherine Leeson of Butler and the late John Leeson.
The maid of honor was Heather Leeson of Cabot. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Leeson of Slippery Rock, Tammy Bergbigler of Butler and Tracy Hockenberry of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Michael King of Butler. Ushers were Michael Van Tine of Slippery Rock, Harvey Houtz Jr. of Cabot and Henry Houtz of Butler. Junior groomsmen included John Leeson Jr. and Scott Leeson, both of Slippery Rock. The ring bearer was Jonathan Houtz of Cabot.
The bride attended Butler High School. She works at Garfield's Restaurant in Center Township and Trader Horn in Butler.
The bridegroom also attended Butler High School. He works for Hays Service Center in Herman. Following a honeymoon to Treasure Lake in DuBois, the couple is making their home in Butler.
