Lee Roy and Gloria Miller of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Garden Gate Restaurant in Prospect.

The former Gloria McCollough married Miller on April 2, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have three children, Nancy Daum, Bill Miller and Chuck Miller, all of Butler. They also have eight grandchildren.

Miller retired from Farm Credit in 1976, where he worked as manager for 36 years. He later retired in 1996 after working for 20 years with Hays and Hartzell Realty.

The couple belongs to Hill United Presbyterian Church in Butler.
