Marie Heasley of Butler will celebrate her 100th birthday April 12 at her home.

The former Marie Brophy was born April 12, 1905 in Butler. She married Louis Heasley Sr., who is deceased.

She has two children, Louis Heasley Jr. and Mary Heasley Strobel, both of Butler. She also has seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Heasley is retired from Heasley Nurseries, which she and her husband opened in the 1930s.

She is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
