Bob and Shirley Dunn of Chicora will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. April 16 at the North Washington Fire Department Social Hall, Fairview Road, North Washington.

The former Shirley Klepper married Dunn on April 5, 1955 at the Prospect Presbyterian Church in Prospect.

They have five children, Donald Dunn and Robert Dunn Jr., both of Chicora; John Dunn of Transfer; Robin Kreutz of Slippery Rock; and Richard Dunn of New Castle.

They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dunn is retired from Agway Energy, where he worked as a transport driver.

Mrs. Dunn is retired from Concord Township, where she worked as a secretary. She is the leader of a 4-H club.

The couple belongs to Concord Presbyterian Church in West Sunbury.

The couple requests no gifts.
