An Aug. 20 wedding is being planned by Erica Long of Pittsburgh and Christopher Cappabianco of New Castle.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron Long of Harrisville and Connie Striegel of Cranberry Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John Cappabianco of New Castle and Donna Peterson of Edinburg.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, a 2002 graduate of Grove City College and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She plans to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Kennedy Christian High School, in 2000 and 2004 from Westminster College, receiving a master's degree. He works as a behavioral specialist and mobile therapist with Vocational and Psychological Services.
