The sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed during weekend worship services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. April worship services will celebrate children's month and Deb Pincek will speak to the congregation during the contemporary service.

A new cancer support group will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The group, sponsored by the Cancer Caring Center, will be led by Judy Knapp and is open to those currently dealing with cancer, cancer survivors and family members needing support. To register, call 412-622-1212.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH
As a part of the interactive worship series, Innerchange will perform "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" at 7 p.m. Saturday at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave.
The youth group will participate in a lock-in Saturday at the YMCA, 339 N. Washington St. Cost is $10.
The family of Matthew Dillon will host an appreciation lunch after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Reservations are required.
The Tom Walker Family, a musical group, will perform a tribute to Matthew Dillon at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.
Amanda Sybert will provide music for the 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services.
FIRST BAPTIST
The youth of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will participate in a paintball event Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. Paintball activities, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and are open to member church representatives of the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Western Pennsylvania. Cost is $20 for gun rental, lunch and 100 paintballs.
Congregations of the Pennsylvania Association of Regular Baptist Churches are invited to the annual spring conference of the PARBC Monday and Tuesday at Waterford Baptist Church. Theme of the conference is "Preach the Word!" Dr. Robert Delnay of Clearwater Christian College will be the featured speaker.
The Women's Missionary Fellowship will meet Tuesday at the Baptist Youth Center. Betty Dickey will be the speaker at both the 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. sessions. Hostesses will be Darlyne Hughes for the morning session and Ethel Fuller for the evening session. Activities will include knotting quilts for missionaries and preparing birthday cards for shut-ins.
FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN
Members of the Parish Care Ministry of First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St. are invited to have their pictures taken after both Sunday services.
GLADE RUN U.P.
The Women of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will leave for their retreat to Jumonville on April 8 and return April 10.
The Youth Group will attend "Acquire the Fire" on April 23. A lock-in will be held April 22 at the church and will leave in the morning for ATF. Students in grades six through 12 are invited. The deadline for reservations is April 3. For information, contact Gloria at 724-898-1016.
GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN
Starting this week, the 10 a.m. Sunday service will be the only service at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St.
A new member recognition and building dedication will be held at the 10 a.m. Sunday service. The congregation of Calvary Presbyterian Church will also be recognized. A luncheon will follow in the social hall.
A spring clean-up day will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The Faith Shapers will have a Hang Out Night from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the home of Chris Wagner. Participants should take a board game or video game and a 2-liter bottle of pop or a bag of munchies.
HILL U.P.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.
Sunday school classes will resume at 9:15 a.m. Sunday. Childcare for children age 3 and younger will begin at 9 a.m.
A Sunday school attendance contest between children and adults will be held during April. The winning group will be treated to a breakfast on May 1.
Donations of desserts for Meals on Wheels should be taken to Fellowship Hall on Sunday. Monetary donations are also needed. For information, contact Gloria Miller.

Missionary Genuta Erhan of Shelter of Care, Isai, Romania, will be the guest speaker at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.

OAK HILLS CHRISTIAN
The Bible study group weekly discussion series will resume at 7 p.m. today at Oak Hills Christian Church, Old Plank and Township Line Roads, Butler Township. The hour-long study session will focus on Second Timothy.
OLD UNION PRESBY
A special congregational meeting will be held during the announcement time of the Sunday service at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars. The purpose of this meeting will be to elect congregational representatives to the nominating committee.
The Soup Supper will be held April 9. Sign up in the back of the church to donate supplies or help with the supper.

A Mass of Healing for Charismatics will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia. Members of the prayer group will be available for personal prayers following the Mass.
