11:43 a.m. Tuesday - Cars driven by Ruth Monnie, 64, of Butler Township and Billy Bookhamer, 30, of Center Township collided at West New Castle and North Jackson streets. Monnie was cited for improperly pulling into traffic.
1:30 p.m. Tuesday - An Adler Royal Business Machines cash register was found on Blair Road in Venango Township. The register was missing its cash drawer. Anyone with information about the property is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.10:10 a.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by Kim Rensel, 53, of Butler and a car driven by Cynthia Grafton, 57, of Parker collided on Route 38 in Venango Township.Tuesday - Kathy Lowers of Concord Township reported someone between 12:30 and 4:30 a.m. took her 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier that was parked on Route 68 in front of the Last Laugh bar in Chicora. The car is blue with pink side stripes.6 p.m. Monday - Joel Hazlett, 45, of Hilliards faces simple assault and harassment charges after allegedly assaulting his daughter, Crystal Hazlett, 18, of Hilliards, at a Branchton Road home in Washington Township.1:25 p.m. Monday - A van driven by Cory Elliott, 27, of Butler struck a large mud hole and utility pole along South Benbrook Road near Lyon Road in Center Township.5 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Kenneth Webb, 63, of Harrisville and a pickup truck driven by Sarah Hogg, 17, of Slippery Rock collided on Harmony Road near Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Webb, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.10:56 p.m. Saturday - A car driven by John Negley, 17, no address driven, struck an embankment on West Slippery Rock Street in Chicora. Negley and two 16-year-old passengers in the van, none of whom were wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.7:46 p.m. Thursday - Aaron Brucker, 20, of Slippery Rock was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Harmony Road in Mercer Township.
11:12 p.m. Monday - James Masterson, no age given, of New Middletown, Ohio, was seriously injured when the vehicle he was driving struck an embankment on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County, became airborne for about 150 feet and slammed into the side of a concrete bridge. The vehicle ended up in a creek.Masterson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to an unknown hospital for treatment of his injuries. No other information was available this morning.
