The Slippery Rock fifth- and sixth-grade boys basketball travel team recently captured a pair of tournaments.

Slippery Rock won the 17th annual Franklin YMCA Tournament, defeating Grove City in the finals, and also won the Cranberry Tournament by defeating the hosts in the championship game.

Team members are Deven Delucca, Brian Giesler, Cole Knight, Alec McDeavitt, Gus McDowell, Ryan Thompson, Andrew Waryanka and Sean White. Coaches are Randy Giesler, Zoe McDowell and Ray Thompson.
