5:55 a.m. Monday - The trailer of a rig driven by Michael DeLuigi, 36, of Sewickley, Allegheny County, struck a utility pole while making a turn at South Main and Mill streets.2:43 p.m. Monday - Gregory Staab, 36, of 215 Mercer St. was charged with indirect criminal contempt for violating a court-issued protection from abuse order previously obtained by a woman, whom police did not identify.Staab was charged while attending his preliminary hearing in a domestic violence case at the office of District Judge Pete Shaffer. Staab was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bond.
5:44 a.m. Saturday - A car driven by Brendan O'Toole, 19, of Bellvue, Allegheny County, and a truck driven by Jack Catania Jr., 46, of Pittsburgh collided at North Main and Culvert streets.The car then struck a utility pole, shearing off the pole and knocking down wires. Zelienople firefighters were called and helped to free O'Toole from the wreckage. He was taken with unknown injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.3:27 p.m. Wednesday - Vehicles driven by Tiffany Waldenmyer, 19, and John F. Voll, 52, both of Zelienople, collided at Route 19 and Culvert Street.2:40 p.m. March 22 - Vehicles driven by Marie Jeanette Smith, 17, of Fombell, Beaver County, and Jane Elizabeth Williams, 42, ofZelienople collided at West Beaver Street and Timberbrook Drive.
