6:27 p.m. Wednesday - Clifford J. Hicks, 23, of East Jefferson Street and Travis A. Hilliard, 19, of Virginia Avenue, were arrested and various charges filed against them.The two were reported walking on East Jefferson Street swearing at and exposing themselves to several women.Hicks is charged with open lewdness, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and furnishing alcohol to a minor.Hilliard is charged with open lewdness, public drunkenness and the purchase, consumption and transportation of alcohol.

2:45 p.m. Thursday - Loyal McElheny of Valencia was not injured when his truck went off Sandy Hill Road in Clinton Township and hit two trees. Middlesex Police assisted state police in this matter.2:50 p.m. Thursday - Anthony Wallace, 37, of Butler suffered severe leg injuries when his car crossed the centerline on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, and hit a tractor-trailer driven by Fredrick Ceccarelli, 53, of New Castle.Ceccarelli's truck rolled over with the driver suffering only minor injuries. Wallace was taken by helicopter to a hospital, but his location and condition were not known Saturday morning.2:10 a.m. Thursday - Chad W. Finucan, 21, of Butler was arrested on Alameda Park Road in Butler for driving under the influence.9:25 a.m. Monday - David Bemben, 24, 204 Second St., Butler, was found to have drug paraphernalia on two different occasions at his home. He was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Pete Shaffer on a bond of $2,500. He is in the Butler County Prison.3 p.m. March 11 - It was reported that someone entered the room of Hannah Dull, 103, at the Slippery Rock Personal Care Home in Slippery Rock Township and took about $1005:30 p.m. Feb. 20 - Mary Rice of Slippery Rock, who was selling a car in her front yard, allowed an unknown person to take the car for a test drive and the driver never returned the car. The car is a 1994 Chrysler LeBaron four-door sedan with the paint peeling from the hood and body.

9:43 a.m. Thursday - Raul Guerrero-Benigno, 20, of Mexico, was arrested for being in the United States illegally after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Clarion Township.

Saturday - Jeffrey Weigand, 42, of Kennerdell, who was arrested at Romanko Road in Scrubgrass Township, is in the Venango County Prison on $5,000 bond, charged with assaulting April Keach, 39, of Utica, N.Y., over a three-day period.

5:05 p.m. Friday - William Lapp of Grove City was driving his truck at the intersection of state Route 2005 and state Route 208 when he and his passenger, James Griffin of Volant, noticed fire and smoke coming from the hood. The truck was completely engulfed by the time the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department arrived. No one was injured.10:30 a.m. Monday - Timothy Keely of 125 Lake Road, Sandy Lake, reported someone walked through a corn field to his property and removed a muffler with some sort of cutting instrument from a vehicle in the driveway and took two other mufflers from a garage.Joshua Lee Dunn of 164 Tent Hill Road, Sandy Lake, was arrested for the theft when he was stopped for an equipment violation on Wednesday. He was arraigned on Thursday and is in the Mercer County Prison on a $10,000 bond.Charges will be filed against Cody William Hovis, also of 164 Tent Hill Road, Sandy Hill, for the same incident.
