SAXONBURG - District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Christopher Daly, 63, of Adams Township, waived to court charges of driving under the influence filed Jan. 3 by Middlesex Township police.

Michael Knecht, 22, of Cranberry Township, waived to court charges of driving under the influence filed Jan. 31 by Middlesex Township police.

Douglas Leslie, 43, of Middlesex Township, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, filed Feb. 3 by Middlesex Township police

Stephen Ozarski, 37, of Adams Township, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, filed Feb. 7 by Middlesex Township police

SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Courtney McFeathers, 26, of Forestville, waived her case to court. She was charged by state police with two counts each of forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property on March 17. The charges stem from Dec. 2004 when McFeathers wrote two checks totaling $1,525 from a closed checking account. McFeathers is being held on $25,000 bond in the Butler County Prison.Justin Ambrisco, 25, of Ebensburg, waived his case to court. He was charged by state police with driving under the influence, speeding, careless driving and failure to use a safety belt on Feb. 27 on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.Robert Murray, 41, of McKees Rocks, waived his case to court. He was charged by state police with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane, careless driving, failure to use a safety belt, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle on Feb. 26 Route 422 in Franklin Township.Kyle Durrett, 24, of Slippery Rock, waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence and no rear lights on his vehicle. The charges stem from a Feb. 6 traffic stop on Maltby Avenue in Slippery Rock.Mark Neil, 30, of Portersville, had his case held for court. He was charged by state police with harassment and simple assault when he assaulted a female victim at a Main Street residence in Portersville on March 18. Neil is being held on $10,000 bond in Butler County Prison.Robert Alexander III, of Oconomowoc, Wis., waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock Borough police with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and burglary on March 17. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in May to July of 2003 when Alexander stole a semi-automatic assault rifle from a Prospect Borough residence and later sold it. He is being held on $25,000 bond in Butler County Prison.

CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:Joshua Seddon, no age given, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 11, 2004, by the Cranberry Township police for writing bad checks.Amy Elizabeth Demillo, 21, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged Jan. 5 by the Cranberry Township police with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving a vehicle with the registration suspended, operating a vehicle without insurance and operating a vehicle without proper inspection and failure to provide evidence of emission inspection.Joseph Paul, 32, of Prospect waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 26 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of controlled substances, driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana, two counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.Daniel Ryan Hnatow, 21, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 1 by the Cranberry Township police with possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.Dayne Daily Volz, 39, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 25 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, careless driving and failure to stop at a red light.Mark Faust, 37, of Library, Pa., waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 19 by Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks.

EVANS CITY - District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Michael Sean Gayhart, 22, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 5 by the state police with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy to commit theft by deception, conspiracy to receive stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.Veronica Lynn Peck, 19, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 11 by the state police with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, two counts of theft by deception, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Carmen Namie, 18, of Mars waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 19 by the Mars police with two counts of intimidation of witness or victims.Christina Paul, 36, of Cranberry Township waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 14 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and speeding.Thomas William Herman, 43, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Dec. 30 by the state police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
