An Oct. 1 wedding is being planned by Michelle Cogley and Jay Wagner, both of Rural Valley.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Connie Cogley of Rural Valley. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John and Carol Wagner of Eau Claire.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Shannock Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Clarion University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in science and early childhood education. She works as a substitute teacher for the Armstrong and Marion Center school districts.

Her fiancé is a 1994 graduate of Moniteau High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology in 1997 and a master of science degree in speech language pathology in 1998, both from Clarion University. He works as a speech language pathologist in the Armstrong School District.
