1:27 a.m. Tuesday - Frederick McGill, 49, of 515 State St., was arrested after police found him staggering on and off a sidewalk as he walked near New Castle and Fifth streets. He was searched and allegedly found with suspected crack cocaine and a crack pipe.McGill is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, as well as public drunkenness.Tuesday - Kenneth Gratzinger, 19, of 408 Bredin St., was arrested for allegedly taking an acoustic guitar and a guitar bag from an East Locust Street home. Gratzinger was arraigned on charges of theft and receiving stolen property, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.Christy Denniston of Connoquenessing owns the stolen property, valued at $265.
