Paul Lokovich
Paul Lokovich, 73, of East Walnut Street died at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born in Lyndora, Nov. 16, 1931, he was the son of Albert and Anna Minto Lokovich.
He retired in 1986 as a maintenance supervisor at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center after 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Lokovich was a member of the Covenant United Presbyterian Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He belonged to the American Legion Post 117, the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 64, the Moose Lodge 64 and the Slovak Club.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia L. Wheeler Lokovich, whom he married June 10, 1955; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Beth) Muti of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Brenda Simpson Keith of Butler; two sons, Lawrence "Larry" Lokovich of Woodbridge, Va., and Gary Lokovich of Ozark, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gloria Collins of Karns City and Mrs. John (Sandra) Fleeger of Poland, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
