Crawford, Bryan
Pittsburgh residents Melissa Crawford and Dean Bryan were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Barry Kerulainen officiated. A reception followed at the Marriott Pittsburgh North.
The bride is the daughter of Samuel and Sandra Crawford of Cabot. Parents of the bridegroom are Miles and Kyong Bryan of Saxonburg.
The matron of honor was Christine Bossung of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Tina Freer of Butler; Angela Bastian of Saxonburg; Kelli Adams of Centerville, Va.; Amy Rapsinski and Patricia Pollard, both of Sarver; and Casey Salerno of Pittsburgh. The flower girls were Tiana Smith and Janessa Smith, both of Arnold.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was William Hammel of Moon Township. Ushers included Kenneth Reese of Marysville; Alan Miller of Dauphin; Brandon Simpson of California, Pa.; Patrick Lally of Burlington, N.C.; Adrian Bittner of Centerville; and Nicholas Bagnato of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she received a bachelor's degree in marketing and economics. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in public and international affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.
The groom graduated in 1998 in Knoch High School and in 2003 and 2004 from California (Pa.) University, earning bachelor's and master's degrees in athletic training. He works at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Butler.
Following a Western Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple is residing in Pittsburgh.
