Duane Sr. and Ethel Jones of Renfrew will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a dinner for family and friends at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Department.

The former Ethel Pryor married Jones on March 16, 1955 at the Nazarene parsonage in Zelienople.

They have seven children, Diane Miller, Evelyn Cumberland, Karen Pittman and Paul Jones, all of Butler; Duane Jones Jr. of Tionesta; Richard Jones of Renfrew; and Boyce Jones of Emlenton.

They also have 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Jones retired from Vesuvius USA in 1998 after 43 years.

Mrs. Jones retired from Laidlaw Transit in 2001.
