A July 15, 2006, wedding is being planned by Tara Bly of Chicora and Evan Smith of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Amy Bly of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Vance Smith III of Pittsburgh and Jamie Lanier of Cincinnati.

The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from Karns City High School and in 2004 from Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology. She works for Family Behavioral Resources in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 2001 from The Phelps School. He works in marketing and is an N.I.E. manager for the Butler Eagle in Butler.
