Tichy, White
Kelly Tichy and Christopher White, both of Toledo, Ohio, exchanged vows at 2 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Historic Church of St. Patrick in Toledo. The Rev. Michael Billian and the groom's uncle, the Rev. Cyrus Gallagher officiated. A reception followed at the Clarion Hotel in Toledo.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Peg Tichy of Toledo. Parents of the bridegroom are Harry White and Carol White, both of Butler.
The matron of honor was Mindy Babcock of Columbus, Ohio. Bridesmaids included Michelle McGowen of Columbus; Lisa Juette of Toledo; and the groom's sisters, Heather Halper of Pittsburgh and Holly Palmer of Apple Valley, Minn.
Performing the duties of best man was Ian Halper of Pittsburgh. Ushers were Jay Palmer of Apple Valley and Andy Juette of Toledo.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Central Catholic High School; a 1999 graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she received a bachelor's degree; and a 2003 graduate of the University of Toledo, where she received her master's degree. She is employed at the Washington Local Schools in Toledo.
The groom graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 1999 from Penn State Behrend, where he received a bachelor's degree. He is employed at Plastic Technologies in Holland, Ohio.
Following a honeymoon trip to Mexico, the couple is residing in Toledo.
