Mitch, Donaldson
Monica Mitch of Raleigh, N.C., and Thomas Donaldson Jr. of Nutley, N.J., exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception was held at the Butler Days Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Karen Mitch of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas Donaldson and Venida Kleemann, both of Butler.
The honor attendant was the bride's sister, Vikki Safran of Raleigh. Bridesmaids included the bride's sisters, Tawnya Krebs of Wake Forest, N.C., and Connie Mitch, Carrie Mitch and Christina Mitch, all of Butler; Carrie Birch of Butler; Kim Abels of Renfrew; and Erin Miller of Raleigh, N.C. The flower girl was Elizabeth Mitch of Steubenville, Ohio.
Serving his brother as best man was Peter Donaldson of Butler. Ushers included the groom's brothers, Ian Donaldson and Patrick Donaldson of Butler; the bride's brother, Bill Mitch of Butler; Travis Bargo of Philadelphia and Alex Anthony of Burlington, Vt.
The bride graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2001 from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy at the Community College of Allegheny County. She works for The Fountain Day Spa in Ramsey, N.J.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from BHS and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University. He works for the Milliman Actuary Consulting firm.
Following a honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Lincoln Park, N.J.
