Wayne U. Dindinger
Wayne U. Dindinger, 83, of Zelienople died Sunday at Passavant Retirement & Health Center, Zelienople.
Born April 29, 1921, in Lancaster Township, he was the son of David Clayton and Clara Uhl Dindinger.
Mr. Dindinger was a life-member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Middle Lancaster and was a charter member of the Harmony Moose Lodge 957.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor L. Dindinger, whom he married April 26, 1944; three daughters, Linda Silberman of McKeesport, Kathy Baker and her husband, William, of Middle Lancaster and Patricia McConahy of New Castle; two sons, David Dindinger and his wife, Paula and Gary Dindinger and his wife, Kay, all of Fombell; two sisters, Grace Minehart of Callery and Helen Wolfe of Zelienople. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Miles Dindinger; and three sisters, Faye Gallagher, Catherine Wright and Eleanor Householder.
DINDINGER - Friends of Wayne U. Dindinger, who died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday atBOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Harmony, with the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley, his church pastor, officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church.
