Joan E. Kearns
Joan E. Kearns, 60, of Butler, formerly of Arvada, Colo., died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday at UPMC in Pittsburgh
Born July 17, 1944, in Charleston, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Flora Rutledge Garton.
She retired from Adolph Coors Co., where she was an executive vice president. She also was a Realtor in Colorado and the former owner of the Sports Channel Restaurant in Denver.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis R. Kearns, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Amber) O'Toole of Westminster, Colo.; two sons, Barry Kearns of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Chad Eggleston of Butler; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She also is survived by a sister, Jeanetta King of Nashville, Tenn.; and two brothers, Dayton Garton of Potterville, Mich., and Douglas Garton of Fort Myers, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
