4:55 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Arlene Mennow, 57, of Freeport skidded off snow-covered Fairview Avenue, jumped the curb and struck two parked sport utility vehicles owned by David Wagner and Raymond Hilliard, both of Butler.2:13 a.m. Wednesday - Matthew Waldor, 42, of 136 W. Jefferson St., Apt. 12, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, Jodi Dobson-Waldor, at the couple's home. Waldor is charged with simple assault.
3 p.m. Wednesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Dawn Gibson, 58, of Chicora skidded off ice-covered Kaylor Road in Fairview Township and rolled onto its side.2 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Crystal Wyant, 20, of Karns City skidded on Fairmont Road in Fairview Township and collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Richard Lipnichan, 69, of Bruin. Wyant, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries,11:15 a.m. Wednesday -Susan Leonberg, 37, of Portersville swerved her sport utility vehicle to avoid several vehicles skidding on snow-covered Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township and struck a tree. Leonberg, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.10:15 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Derek Laliberte, 23, of Butler skidded off snow-covered Benbrook Road in Center Township and struck a tree. Laliberte, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.8:28 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Valerie Brake, 37, of Cabot skidded off snow-covered Winfield Road in Winfield Township and struck a utility pole and fence. Brake, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Wednesday - A pickup truck driven by Brian Leavens, 25, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, skidded off snow-covered Route 8 near Muddy Creek Drive in Center Township and struck a tree. Leavens, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.Wednesday - A pickup truck driven by George Duncan, 56, of Prospect skidded off snow-covered Lower Harmony Road in Connoquenessing Township, struck a tree and rolled onto its side.5:20 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Greta Keverline, 61, of Portersville skidded off snow-covered Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township and struck an embankment. Keverline, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Monday - John Staph of Slippery Rock said someone between 3 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday stole his silver and gray, 1988 Ford Bronco on Curry Road at McClymonds Trucking in Muddy Creek Township. Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Feb. 22 - George Warner said someone broke into his Nagy Road home in Washington Township and took numerous DVDs valued at $1,000.
5:16 p.m. Monday - A PennDOT salt truck driven by Joel Shankle, no age given, of Kittanning skidded on snow-covered Route 3128 between Grandview and Spohn roads in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, and collided with a mini-van driven by Jennifer Jordan, no age given, of Freeport.
12:55 a.m. Wednesday - A vehicle driven by Dervis Vila, no age given, of Des Plaines, Ill. skidded on Interstate 80 in Mercer County, struck the center median and rolled onto its side.
