Kari Stagno graduated magna cum laude from Indiana (Pa.) University with a bachelor of science degree in education of the hearing impaired.While at the university, she was named to the dean's list for seven semesters and was a member of the Mortar Board honorary academic society.Stagno was also active in Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Indiana County and Sign-In, a sign language performing group.The daughter of Anthony and Patricia Stagno of Butler, she is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School.Stagno has accepted a teaching position with the Hawaii Department of Education.She currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii.
