Leroy and Connie Wolford of Karns City will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and reception April 9 at the Donegal Grange in Chicora.

The former Connie Claypoole married Wolford on Feb. 14, 1955 at the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Parsonage in Chicora.

They have four children, Lawrence Wolford of Karns City, Robert Wolford of Sarver, Marjorie Pennington of Bruin and Lee Weiland of Chicora.

They also have seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and three step-great-granddaughters.

Wolford is retired from Penreco in Karns City.

Mrs. Wolford is a homemaker.
