Richard H. Stedman

Richard H. Stedman, 83, of Cherokee Drive, Butler, died at 2:10 a.m. Friday at Butler Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Born Dec. 27, 1921, in Kane, Pa., he was the son of Richard H. and Myrtle Wilson Stedman.

He was a veteran of the Air Force serving in the Pacific Theater in World War II.

He was a 1939 graduate of Kane High School and was employed in the milk marketing department of Dairy Lea in Butler.

Surviving are his wife Mary Maloney Stedman, whom he married Oct. 17, 1942; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Bonnie) Zemcik of Missouri, and Mrs. Gail Moore of Greenville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>STEDMAN</B> - Friends of Richard H. Stedman, who died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Harvey of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
