John Marchuk of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday with a dinner at home with his family.

Born Feb. 5, 1915, he married Mary Hallahan on Nov. 8, 1945.

He has four children, Judy Vild of Freedom, Nicholas Marchuk of Cranberry Township, Mary Huegel of Butler and Annette Lecheler of Denison, Texas. He also has six grandchildren.

Marchuk is retired from Armco.

He is a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.
