A May 7 wedding is being planned by Jessica Bobby and Jermaine Thomas, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Donna Bobby of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Melvin Thomas and Deborah Thomas, both of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Butler High School and a 1996 graduate of Butler County Community College, where she received an associate's degree in applied science. She is employed at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Her fiancé graduated from Perry Traditional Academy in 1991 and attended Slippery Rock University. He works as a driver for the United Parcel Service in Butler.
