Glenny Oesterling

There is no way to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and love we have received since the loss of our beloved son and brother, Glenny. Glenny battled C.P. for forty-seven years. We did everything we could to make him fit into society. And that he did. Every time he had one of his twenty-five surgeries, we hoped it would do something to make him better. However the surgery only made him feel more comfortable and we were grateful for that. At last his body grew weak and tired. God said you’re finished, the task I sent you to do on earth, take my hand it’s time to go home.

We thank you for the way everyone took over and we were able to do what was necessary.

We thank all of you who sent flowers, shawls, masses, cards and food. Glenny would have been so happy to see how well he was liked. If you knew him you met an earth angel. I didn’t know how many lives he touched until the people told me and wrote it on their cards.

I want to thank Father Michael, Father Kevin of St. Wendelins Roman Catholic Church for their beautiful mass and sermon. Thanks to the organist and the choir and also the ladies that served the delicious meal.

Last but not least I want to express my deepest appreciation to Young’s Funeral Home especially to Bill (Digger) Young. The flower arrangements and the shawls were like they were seen in a magazine. The video of our family mostly Glenny growing up was loved by the families and the ones who watched it.

If the weather was a little better I’d say it was a perfect day for our earth angel to be in Heaven with his Jesus and his own Dad that he loved very much.

God bless all of you, we will never forget your kindness. And we have our own special angel up there.
