PSAC 184-pound champion Charlie Pienaar won his 23rd match of the season Wednesday as the Slippery Rock University wrestling team defeated Gannon, 31-7, at Morrow Field House.

Pienaar improved to 23-7 with the win as the Rock improved to 4-13 in dual meets by winning eight of 10 matches.

Tony Morres (5-14) scored SRU's lone pin of the night at 197 pounds. It was his first pin of the season.

Cory Mancuso (157 pounds) and Matt Burkholder (heavyweight) won by technical fall.

Winning by decision for SRU were Tony Monroig, Jake Zeoli, Gerald Christian, Mike Lauff and Zach Brower.

The Rock hosts Delaware State, Duquesne, Gardner-Webb and Millersville at the East Region duals Saturday.
