Gretchen Boord
Gretchen Louise Mohan Teague Boord, 49, of Salem, W.Va., died Wednesday night at her residence following a four-year battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 3, 1955, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Wilbert L. and Joann Kresen Mohan.
She worked in the draperies department at the J.C. Penney store in Meadowbrook Mall.
Mrs. Boord enjoyed ceramics and collected hummingbirds and angels.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Neil Boord of Salem; her mother of Sarver; and two sons, William Teague of Lakeland, Fla., and Jeffrey Neil Boord II of Clarksburg, W.Va.
Also surviving are four sisters, Linda Bopp, Tracy Mohan and Mildred Wilbert, all of Butler, and Terri Knight of Dumphreys, Va.; two brothers, Daniel J. Mohan and John D. Mohan, both of Sarver; and two grandchildren, McKenzie D. Boord and Nicholas A. Boord.
She was preceded in death by her father.
BOORD - Friends of Gretchen Louise Mohan Teague Boord, who died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at DAVIS-WEAVER FUNERAL HOME, 329 E. Main St., Clarksburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Marty Basil. Burial will be in the Salem I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
