BUTLER TWP - Butler County Community College has been awarded a $300,000 grant from The Heinz Endowments to support career services, professional development and marketing at the college.

The Heinz Endowments support efforts to make southwestern Pennsylvania a premier place to live and work, a center of learning and educational excellence and a home to diversity and inclusion.

BC3 serves about 9,000 credit and 26,500 noncredit students in Butler, Armstrong, Lawrence and Mercer counties and provides work force training and development in Western Pennsylvania.
