Thomas and Diana Hollefreund of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage with a family dinner at Mama Rosa's restaurant.

The former Diana DeSantis married Hollefreund on Jan. 22, 1965 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

They have three sons, Tom Hollefreund and Eric Hollefreund, both of Butler, and Brian Hollefreund of Chicora. They also have 5 grandchildren.

Hollefreund is retired from Armco and AK Steel.

Mrs. Hollefreund works at the Ron West Agency.

The couple belongs to Trinity Presbyterian Church and the Elks Club.
