A Sept. 10 wedding is being planned by Megan Thompson and David Patton, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alan and Teri Thompson of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jeffery Patton and Sandra Patton, both of Butler.

The bride-elect graduated in 2001 from Portersville Christian and Clarion University. She works at Aldi's warehouse in Saxonburg.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Knoch High School and in 1997 from the Pittsburgh Art Institute. He works for Penn United Technologies in Sarver.
