Mars girls pour it on Burrell

Cara Hudac scored 10 of her 16 points in the second half as the Mars girls basketball team roared away from Burrell in the final 16 minutes for a 67-38 win Thursday night.

The Planets (12-4, 7-1) led 24-14 at halftime, but outscored Burrell 43-24 in the second half.

Taryn Adamski added 11 points and Maggie Bulman pitched in 10 more for Mars.
