Thelma G. Miller

Thelma G. Miller, 75, of Karns City died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at Classy Country Personal Care Home, Chicora, after a long illness.

Born in Bruin, May 9, 1929, she was a daughter of Clarence A. and Mary L. Finefrock Lowers.

She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Butler.

Her husband, Carl W. Miller, whom she married May 26, 1949, died Jan. 23, 1992. Surviving are a son, Rick Miller of Chicora; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Wendy Ann) Green of Karns City, and seven grandchildren. She also is survived by two sisters, Norma Myers of Butler and Mrs. Grover (Lulu Belle) Hartzel Jr. of Knox, Clarion County; and several nieces and nephews.

MILLER - Friends of Thelma G. Miller, who died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lynn, pastor of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Memorial donations may be made to the Petroleum Valley Food Cupboard, c/o Virginia Jones, 385 Oak Road, Chicora, PA 16025.
