Julia A. Zulick Bayne

Julia A. "Pee-Wee" Zulick Reddick Bayne, 80, of Butler died at 5:10 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lyndora, Jan. 15, 1924, she was a daughter of Andrew and Julia Barna Zulick.

She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a private housekeeper and for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Administration.

Mrs. Bayne was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora, where she was active in the ladies guild and had served as a religious education teacher. She also was a member of the Aubrey's Women's Golf League and the Sunrise Bowling League. Her other interests included cleaning, crocheting, playing cards, traveling and dancing.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Reddick-Kuhns, and her husband, George, of Fairplay, Colo.; two daughters-in-law, Charlene Baumgarten Reddick of Saxonburg and Patty Reddick Mook and her husband, Jerry Mook, of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Anne "Mamie" Tincha of Butler; and four brothers, William and Peter Zulick, both of Renfrew, John Zulick of Butler and Stephen Zulick of Studio City, Calif. She also is survived by four grandchildren, Dr. Jason Reddick of North Carolina, Jodie Reddick Eisenhuth of East Butler, Joel Kuhns of Colorado and Roess Reddick of Pittsburgh; and a great-grandson, Dylan M. Eisenhuth of East Butler.

Her first husband, Meldren G. Reddick, died Aug. 10, 1970. She then married Donald P. Bayne on Aug. 25, 1973. He died in 2001. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Meldren J. "Bud" Reddick and Robert L. Reddick; a sister, Marge McClymonds; and a brother, Andrew Zulick II.

BAYNE - Friends of Julia A. "Pee-Wee" Zulick Reddick Bayne, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Bogda officiating.
