2 a.m. Saturday - Amber Hodak, 21, of 340 Holyoke Road was arrested on a Butler County bench warrant and is in Butler County Prison.Saturday - Kimberly Jo Clark, 30, of Sarver was charged with two counts of bad checks after she passed two bad checks to Boyers & Paulisick on Dec. 2. Clark was arraigned by District Judge Pete Shaffer and released.Saturday - James Leonard, 27, of 114 S. Sixth Ave. was charged with one count of bad checks after he passed a bad check at the B.A.M.A. auction on Oct. 9. Leonard was arraigned by District Judge Pete Shaffer and released.10:24 p.m. Friday - Robert Schmitt, 37, of 320 W. Birch St. Apt. #1 was charged with simple assault/domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia after he fought with his girlfriend at their home.When police took Schmitt to the police station, they found a crack pipe in his pocket.Schmitt was arraigned by District Judge Pete Shaffer and is in Butler County Prison on $1,500 bond.
7:40 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Charles Ritz Jr., no age given, of Chicora and Matthew Carnahan, no age given, of East Brady collided on Route 68 in Donegal Township. Both men were wearing seatbelts and neither was injured.12:08 p.m. Thursday - Ardella Courson, 77, of Butler lost control of her vehicle on Hendricks Road in Center Township and struck a tree. Courson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, had to be freed from the vehicle. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Her condition was unknown as of Saturday morning.12:40 a.m. Thursday - Scotty Strickland, no age given, of Parker lost control of his vehicle and hit an embankment on Route 268 in Hovey Township, Armstrong County.9:15 p.m. Wednesday - Steve Emery, no age given, of Bruin and Raymond Bates, no age given, of Butler told police someone entered both of their vehicles in the Bruin Bowling Alley parking lot before driving off in Emery's 1994 Chevy S-10.The truck was recovered the next day in Butler. A cell phone and a carton of cigarettes were taken from Bates' vehicle.5:30 p.m. Wednesday - Fred Brothers, no age given, of Fairmont City told police someone struck his pickup truck while it was parked along Route 58 in Eau Claire.8 p.m. Dec. 26 - Kyle Durrett, 24, of Butler struck a cluster of mailboxes with his pickup truck as he backed out of a driveway on Margate Drive in Center Township. Durrett fled but troopers discovered his vehicle at a nearby residence.August through December 2004 - Paul Michel, 48, of Butler told state police someone used his telephone number to gain access to the Internet without his permission. The phone bills totaled $500 in charges.
7:30 a.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Katie Bartnikowski, 29, of Saxonburg and Dawn Fuhrer, 30, of Leechburg collided on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Armstrong County. Both women were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.
