Kenneth and Virginia Foster of Inverness, Fla., celebrated 55 years of marriage with a family dinner on Dec. 26.

The former Virginia Keesy married Foster on Dec. 27, 1949 in Jeffersonville, Ind.

They have six children, Darlene Geibel of Butler; Connie Focht of Forrestville, Conn.; Diane Dolby of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; Sally Linton of DeWitt, Mich.; Ginnie Moore of Inverness; and Patti Foster of Winter Haven, Fla.

They also have 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Foster is a retired truck driver. He also plays Santa Claus during the holiday season. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle in Freeport.

Mrs. Foster is a homemaker and a member of the Freeport Eagles Auxiliary.

The couple belongs to the Freeport Road Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
