Andrew M. Elliott
Andrew M. Elliott, 86, of Crafton died Thursday at his home of heart failure.
He served from 1942 to 1945 with the 94th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, Square A Squadron, during World War II.
Mr. Elliott retired after 26 years as an aircraft electrician with the rank of chief senior master sergeant in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 171st C.A.M Squadron at the Greater Pittsburgh Airport.
He was the beloved husband of Juanita, to whom he was married for 58 years; father of Naomi (Tim) Wilson of Dayton, Ohio, Ronald of Crafton, Ralph (Dana) of Ingram, J. Marie (Richard) Flanagan of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Tammy (Dan) Hartwick of Hooker; loving grandfather of Andrew, Erin and Emily Wilson and Andrew Elliott III and Jessica and Brian Hartwick; and stepgrandson, Ronald Palumbo.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth, and a brother, Pete.
ELLIOTT - Friends of Andrew M. Elliott, who died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today atHERSHBERGER/STOVER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Noble Ave., Crafton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Allegheny County Memorial Cemetery.
