BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
The Rev. Barry Mohney, retired pastor, will be the guest speaker at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. Music will be provided by Gwen Atkinson. Joy Cendrowski of Flint, Mich., will perform a violin offertory.
There will be no evening service on Sunday.
Caravan Kids Club will not meet on Wednesday. Meetings will resume Jan. 5.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
There will be no Saturday service this week at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Sunday services will be at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Reservations and the $15 deposit for couples planning to attend the Winter Retreat must be submitted to Rev. Kathy Mikesell before Jan. 10.
CHRIST'S OUTREACH
Amber Crowe and Lauran Gillespie will provide music at the 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services.
All regularly scheduled Wednesday evening programs will be cancelled this week.
FAITH FELLOWSHIP
There will be no ministry school classes Sunday at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive.
The Awana meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled.
FIRST U.M.
In preparation for the Christmas Eve service, the youth ensemble will meet for practice at 4 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St.
There will be no children's bells rehearsal today or Wednesday.
Volunteers are needed to remove decorations from the sanctuary throughout the day on Wednesday.
The church office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Friday and will be closed Saturday.
FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN
On Sunday, First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will hold only a 10 a.m. service. There will be no Sunday Church School.
GLADE RUN U.P.
The office at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will be closed Dec. 24, 27, 28 and 31.
MERIDIAN U.P.
Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., will be serving the community dinner at 5 p.m. Dec. 29 at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church.
MT. CHESTNUT PRESBY
A caroling worship service will be held at 8:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday at Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422. The service will also recognize new members and those who were baptized in 2004.
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
There will be no Son-LIFE on Sunday at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. The middle school and senior high Bible studies are also postponed.
NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD
The office at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will be closed Monday.
There will be no Java with Jesus on Sunday. Wednesday evening activities have also been cancelled this week.
Offering envelopes for 2005 have been mailed. Those who did not receive the mailing can call the office at 724-285-4214.
Professional pictures of the Living Christmas Tree can be ordered for $15 at the Welcome Center. Payment is due when ordering. Audio tapes of the Living Christmas Tree can also be ordered for $3 at the Welcome Center or the church office.

Movie Night at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, has been temporarily suspended.

A celebration of carols will be held during the 10 a.m. Sunday service at St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St.
SLIPPERY ROCK U.M.
A unity service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Slippery Rock United Methodist, Franklin and Maple streets. The service will feature music by the contemporary praise band and the choir.

New officers will be installed during the 11 a.m. Sunday service at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City.
A meeting to discuss the Lenten/Easter music production will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

A service of lessons and carols with Communion will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Dr.
The 8:30 a.m. Sunday service will also feature lessons and carols.

Donations of flour and rice are being collected for the Covenant Food Cupboard.

The children of West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, 215 East Church St., West Sunbury, will meet for a Christmas Celebration at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the church social hall. The event will include games and refreshments.
The Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated and new members received at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.

There will be no youth group meeting Sunday at Wolf Creek Presbyterian Church, Route 108, Slippery Rock.
