Mana DeMatt

Mana DeMatt, 90, of 120 W. Cunningham St., formerly of 504 Miller St., died at 4 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Born in Butler, May 26, 1914, she was the daughter of John and Angela DeSantis Christafano.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. She was a former member of the Armco Golf Club and an avid card player.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph W. DeMatt of Butler and E. Richard DeMatt of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Lena O'Hara and Mrs. Edith Clever, both of Butler, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeMatt, who died in December 1998; two brothers, and two sisters.

DeMATT - There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Mana DeMatt, who died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Franklin Street, with the Rev. Jack Nanz officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.MARTIN FUNERAL HOME is handling arrangements.Members of the Women's Council of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church will recite the rosary at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
