BUTLER TOWNSHIP - St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68, will host a cookie sale beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.

HARMONY - The Harmony Museum has started its annual Giving Tree fund-raising event.For every $10 donation received, a bow will be placed on the outdoor Christmas tree, donated by Pine Hill Farms, on the Harmony Museum Lawn. GIBSONIA - The St. Barnabas Charitable Foundation is now organizing its annual Presents for Patients program to provide holiday gifts and visits for 1,352 residents of area long-term care facilities.Volunteers are needed to "adopt" residents for the holiday season by personally delivering small gifts.Since 1984, the Presents for Patients Program has provided more than 250,000 gifts and visits to long-term care residents in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia.
