Pitt-Johnstown pair tear into The Rock
Melissa Patterson scored 22 points and Samantha Conner had 19 as the Pitt-Johnstown women's basketball team defeated Slippery Rock University 70-55 Thursday.
Erin Frankovich was the only Rock player in double figures with 10 points. SRU (4-4) had 10 players hit the scoring column and 11 players with at least one rebound.
The Rock shot eight free throws, connecting on five while the Cats (7-1) hit 17 of 20.
