Balance serves Mars girls well in win over Valley
Julie Utz and Cara Hudac scored 12 points each to lead a balanced scoring attack as the Mars girls basketball team downed Valley 68-46 Thursday.
Taryn Adamski and Megan Gibson added 10 points each and Alina Hudac had nine points for the Planets (2-0), who drained nine 3-pointers .
Gibson and Utz had six assists each and Gibson recorded eight rebounds.
