Wednesday - A soda machine at the BP Station on East Jefferson Street was found broken into and all the money inside missing. It was not known when the machine was vandalized.

4 p.m. Wednesday - A stray bullet struck and damaged a Lincoln Navigator at the School Street home of Roger and Nancy Whited in Parker Township.3 a.m. Wednesday - David Ansani, 43, of Butler was arrested on drunk driving, drug-related and hit-and-run charges after he ran from his vehicle at Cunningham and Bluff streets in Butler. Police chased Ansani through several yards before catching him. He allegedly was found with suspected crack cocaine when arrested.He is charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and accidents involving damage to unattended property.Tuesday - A recliner chair and microwave oven were reportedly taken in a burglary between Dec. 2 and Tuesday at the Weiland Road home of Cheryl Ekis in Concord Township.12:03 a.m. Sunday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Jeff Cousins, 37, of Prospect struck a utility pole along Old Route 422 West in Franklin Township. Police said Cousins fled after the crash.
