Margaret Schott of Harmony of celebrated her 90th birthday recently with an open house at the Zion Lutheran Church Social Hall in Middle Lancaster.

The former Margaret Kress was born Nov. 29, 1914, in Swissvale. She married John Schott, who is now deceased.

She has two children, Fritz Schott of Zelienople and Stella Neely of Evans City. She also has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schott enjoys crocheting, bird watching, and watching televised baseball games.

She is a life member of Zion Lutheran Church.
